Originating in 1898, Snead State Community College is the oldest College in the Alabama College System to award associate degrees. Snead State offers two-year academic and technical degree programs, as well as academic transfer, technical certificates, career and applied technology, continuing education, and workforce development programs.

Snead offers day, evening, and weekend classes, as well as online classes to provide students several opportunities to juggle a full course load with the demands of a busy lifestyle.
